About Event

"A peer support circle, sharing is encouraged, actively listen."

This Climate Circles is our EXPERIENCES format. No art talent needed, the activity is meant to be of a meditative nature only. Read on...

Neurographic Art or Neurographica, utilizes free form line drawing (neuro lines) to stimulate a connection between the conscious and the subconscious, creating new neural connections through the transformation and processing of emotions into beautiful art. Neurographic Art promotes neuroplasticity by supporting and exercising the brain’s ability to adapt and reorganize when faced with anxiety, stress, grief, or other external or internal stimuli.

All materials will be provided. Use markers, colored pencils, etc.

We will share on climate emotions as Jaden guides us through each step of creating beautiful pieces, taking turns to reflect on subconsciousness as we uncover the full experience to process, grieve, and to practice mindfulness skills to build personal resilience.

"...meant to enable the connection between the conscious and unconscious, gaining access to the inner self by using a specific algorithm or method. It’s an art form that also engages both our aesthetic and emotional intelligence, eliciting positive changes in our reality as it has been observed to create these changes in people experiencing chronic pain and anxiety, as well as helped people gain clarity and peacefulness."

A personal resilience practice.

Why should we uncover our feelings? We will talk about it.

This is NOT group therapy. It is an opportunity to dig in, ask questions and feel community connection with other concerned folx. Saying the quiet part out loud is empowering.

Climate Circles are a system of clima-unity.

Coming together in a Circle like this, gives each participant a chance to simply listen to perspectives of others. How does the changing climate, and everything before it, during, and the aftermath of its wrath— how do each of us take this into our continuum of understanding the natural and built world.
